Lamboo Joins the H Window Family

H Window Company today announced the acquisition of Lamboo Technologies LLC, a long‑time partner and leading innovator in laminated bamboo building materials. The acquisition deepens a relationship that has spanned years of collaboration, product development, and shared commitment to sustainable, high‑quality architectural solutions.
For more than a decade, Lamboo® has supplied H Window with its signature laminated bamboo materials—used across H Window’s entire line of windows, doors, and timber curtain wall systems. Lamboo® also offered window products manufactured by H Window under its own brand name, Lamboo Vue™, bringing high‑performance fenestration to architects and builders seeking natural, low‑carbon alternatives.
This acquisition unites two companies built on the belief that the future of the built environment depends on materials that are both beautiful and responsible. Laminated bamboo, Lamboo’s flagship material, is a rapidly renewable, low‑carbon alternative to traditional wood, offering comparable structural strength, durability, and warm natural aesthetics. Its performance has already been proven in major projects—including the MSP Airport Terminal 2 expansion, where H Window manufactured a laminated‑bamboo timber curtain wall system that showcases the material’s strength and architectural appeal.
As part of the transition, Lamboo’s manufacturing operations will relocate from Litchfield, Illinois, to H Window’s headquarters in Ashland, Wisconsin, consolidating production and expanding capacity for future growth.
To streamline the combined product portfolio, the Lamboo Vue™ window and curtain wall brand will be sunset, aligning all fenestration products under the H Window name. Lamboo® will continue to operate as a brand within the H Window family, focusing on its established range of interior and exterior architectural products—including structural components, cladding, and specialty bamboo solutions.
